Notter School Competition Cake

I was awarded first place for this cake which I created for the Notter School of Pastry Arts and Chocolate Studio cake competition in 2008. It is a vanilla cake with lemon butter cream and blueberry curd.  The lemon flavor is complemented by the vanilla cake and blueberry curd to create a refreshing and delicious cake.  I decorated the cake with yellow and blue tulips, white and yellow roses, white calla lilies, and yellow and blue orchids.  The flowers were colored to match the flavors of the cake.
