Meet Nils Rowland


Nils Rowland was born in Gainesville, Florida and currently resides in St. Augustine, Florida. His most distinguishing characteristics are his outgoing, friendly demeanor and the passion that he brings to everything he does. His interest in pastry arts is an extension of his life-long interest in fine foods and dining. Nils applies his boundless creativity to producing old European pastries, as well as one-of-a-kind cakes and chocolate and sugar sculptures.

This gallery of cakes, pies and tarts, breads, pastries, plated desserts and chocolate and sugar art pieces represent only a small sampling of Nils' creations.
One of Nils' goals as a pastry chef is to help clients make their celebrations special and memorable by working closely with them to bring their creative ideas to life.

2007 - Successfully completed UCF LEAD Scholars Program
2008 - Earned European Pastry & Baking Diploma,
           Notter School of Pastry Arts
           --- Studied under Ewald Notter, a world-class chocolate and                 sugar artist who also serves as the Director of the Notter                 School of Pastry Arts, and James Rossell, a 3 time Food                 Network Gold Medal Winner in cake design
